South Street Apartments

It felt like home. There were plenty of amenities, everything was spotless and it was comfortable. The directions were accurate and on one occasion I had trouble with the key pad so I called Nick and it was very quickly and easily resolved. There was a bottle of prosecco and other little goodies to welcome me which was a very nice touch. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

This is perfectly situated in the centre of Chichester. When we opened the door to the flat, we were welcomed by Classic FM being played on the radio. There was fresh milk in the fridge and a couple of brownies waiting for us. The flat is beautifully decorated and has pretty much everything you need for a short stay, including a washing machine. The place was nice and clean as well, with interesting magazines to flick through. We found this a really thoughtfully prepared place to stay in.

The not so good is relatively minor: there is very little room for manoeuvre at the front entrance as the steep steps into the building are immediately behind the front door - this was only really an issue when we first arrived and left as we had to manage getting the bags in and out carefully. The other minor annoyance for us is that we had asked for quiet flat and I think we were switched at the last minute to the lower flat looking out on to the street (I say this as the flat number in the correspondence changed shortly before we arrived: we were given flat 3 in the end). It was really noisy on the Friday night as revellers passed by underneath late into the night. Having said that, it is December with lots of Christmas parties and also, it's the price you pay for being so central. So this is not really a complaint, just something to be aware of if you suffer from noise sensitivity.

Too many sets of stairs for me with accompanying luggage. It didn’t spoil our stay but I think folks need to know there are x3 flights of stairs to the bedroom and no lift.

Great location and good view onto cathedral. It was clean and well appointed with a well fitted American kitchen. We had absolutely no complaints.

This has been the easiest rental for our stay in Chichester! The location is amazing, everything within walking distance. Our host provided very helpful recommendations around the area and we really followed through! Our flat #4 had an amazing view of the cathedral! We can't think of anything that was missing in the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The sound isolation is like everywhere in UK, but it isn't a big disconfort if you have quiet neighbors.
