The Studio Cheddar - With Wood Fired Hot Tub, Near Cheddar Gorge

The property was very equipped Every was there ie in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom Nice spot where we were Hot tub which which was very nice The owners helped with the fire while we were out which helped us (as the fire was out three times which we were very very grateful . Sat in the hot tub in the rain and it was a wonderful experience

A lot of thought was taken by the host to ensure we had a great stay. A few pastries were provided, along with milk, orange juice and a bottle a prosecco in the fridge. The place was very clean and tidy and provided a lot of comfort in terms of the bed, sofa and blankets. The cooking facilities were great and had all the pans and cutlery needed. There were plenty of board games at the flat, which we spent a lot of time playing, and there were recommendations for places to eat, drink and go and do. We especially loved the cider barn down the road for a drink and their pizzas. Check-in and out was easy via a code.

When we arrived there was less than a teaspoon of oil needed for cooking in the cupboard, so we had to go out and buy some. The air filtration of the flat is very annoying, it was so loud, you have to turn the tv up just to hear it over the air filter. We were made aware from the hosts that this cannot be turned off as it is part of the heating system of the flat, but can really give you a headache, I'm just glad we didn't have friends with us that would of had to sleep in that room with it. We were really looking forward to using the hot tub while we were there, however, we couldn't get the fire to stay alight long enough for it to get to the desired temperature, despite checking on it every 20 mins. After 2.30hours the temperature had only gone up 5 degrees.

Lovely clean property with fantastic wood burner hot tub. Some really nice touches in the studio including some welcome items which was unexpected. Nice relaxing few nights away. Would recommend.

Everything we could have wanted was provided for us including cooking oil with herbs and spices, milk, orange juice, board games, books, DVDs, toiletries amongst other things. It was very clean and felt homely.

The only downside was that you couldn’t really walk to a local shop or really walk anywhere. There wasn’t a local shop from what we could find and if you want anything you have to drive.

Everything about this studio apartment was perfect! It’s a beautiful place to stay, very homely and comfortable and finished to a high standard. The hosts have thought of everything, with lovely touches such as charging cables and USB sockets in every room, books, DVDs and board games, complimentary food and drink on arrival, and recycling bins. Communication was great, and check-in was simple. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.
