"2 night wonderful stay"

There wasnt anything to not like about it, the hosts are amazing, there isnt anything they couldnt help you with and nothing was too much trouble, the land is beautiful, anyone staying is very lucky to be able to have a couple of nights to share this location and experience life in the middle of nowhere. There is a village pub with great food just a little drive down the road and Tavistock is a short 15 min drive away if you want cafes or supermarkets. The annexe is perfect has everything you need, the bed is very comfortable, this has been decorated and built with love, will definately be returning.

It was a superb place for 1 or 2 people who are looking for peace and tranquility. It had everything you would need for a relaxing night's sleep breakfast light lunch/tea. The perfect hosts.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Viv our host was very welcoming and friendly. The annexe was beautiful with everything in it that was needed. The bed was really comfy. Tea, coffee and milk were there for a much needed cuppa after our 11/12hr journey from Galway. Viv was only a door away if we needed anything. The accommodation itself is in a beautiful secluded area, but also from here you had access to all other amenities with a short drive. Plenty to see and do. I would reccommend the leat to anyone as we really enjoyed it and would book it again in a heartbeat.

"As a bolt hole it was excellent but we drew a short straw with the weather."

The location was lovely and for such a compact space it was ingeniously designed, generous shower. Good instructions on how to find the property.

I would have liked an oven but not sure where it would have gone. Maybe a round tray(to fit in with the decor) would have been handy.

Viv was so welcoming and full of local guidance regarding natural wonders to visit (we loved the gorge!), pubs etc. A beautiful space with lovely attention to detail, fittings and even some lovely books!

Our stay was amazing, our hosts were so tentative and welcoming but they still left us to our own space. The annex was stunning and the added Shepherd’s Hut was wonderful. Amazing value for money, fab hosts. Would absolutely recommend!!

Nothing! Our stay met all of our expectations.
