Edinburgh Western Harbour

The location of the property was excellent and the apartment had all the facilities needed. Definitely recommended.

The apartment has superb views over the Firth of Forth. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Parking was easy and by the front door and local shops and restaurants were very good 😊 we were there for a quiet break and it gave us nice walks. If you are a runner there are plenty of good running paths. Perfect for us, but if you were planning to do some remote work the broadband might need to be faster

No socket for electric toothbrushes and a hair dryer might be useful especially if the visitors are from overseas

Locatie was super mooi uitzicht

The view's. The proximity. The actual apartment. First impression wasn't so good after staying in many "luxury" apartments but after 10 minutes it was very acceptable. The linen was clean, there were abundant towels, everything smelt fresh and it was clean. We would definitely go back again.

The lack of hot water after one person had a bath meaning everyone had to have luke warm showers. The lack of response after emailing and ringing the owner asking for an extra night. The response literally the night before regarding entrance to the property.

The location and the view

It was absolutely disgusting. It wasn’t clean, the beds were the most uncomfortable we’ve ever experienced. Black mould and window frames broken. The kitchen cutlery and utensils dirty. We had a dirty duvet that had crusty bits and stains when we told the host his reply was “ why are you using that one and not the one on the bed”? He did buy us a new one but then no cover so it was just rough and a cheap one from Asda . We weren’t told about the WiFi until the day we were checking in which made me lose two days of work and not being able to watch tv at night. The list goes on, I just hope I can share the photos and videos of are experience and you can decide if a £50 refund that the host offered was appropriate or offensive. The pictures he uses to promote this property does not align with what you receive.
