Edinburgh Western Harbour

Loved the spacious apartment. Loved the views. Cupboards were well stocked with coffee pods, instant coffee, tea, cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash. Very quiet location.

When we arrived it took ages to get the key out of the lock box, we think it was because of the freezing cold weather.

Spacious, home from home and really well equipped. Fantastic location and views that are stunning. Everything we needed was there. Little touches made it very welcoming and comfortable. Beds very comfortable showers were really good. Perfectly placed for visiting attractions in and around Edinburgh. Supermarket and shopping 5 mins away. Bus service on the doorstep.

Needs a little tlc in places but that didn’t spoil our stay.

The location was super, sea views from every window. The apartment had everything you could need. Very close to shops, restaurants and excellent transport. Very quiet area but closer enough to the city.

Ready for new living room and dining furniture, bathrooms needed attention and the walls could do with freshening up. Stating the name of the apartment block would be helpful for other renters in the future to make it easier to find in the dark as a little confusing.

There are many rentals in the block but the host thoughtfully painted the lock with distinct red stripes to avoid confusion. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery and came with adequate supplies. The WiFI was fast and easy to connect to. The apartment was well heated, and there was constant flow of warm water. The street side parking was adequate, and reasonably well lit. We didn't experience any car crime. The location had quite a few amenities nearby such as a large ASDA and a few restaurants. However, it's probably only convenient for those with access to a vehicle.

The apartment could have been better lit. The bedding was of poor quality and quite threadbare. The upkeep of the apartment wasn't the best, with visible wear and tear. This is understanable given the age and usage pattern, but isn't clearly conveyed in the pictures. Perhaps there are too many short term rentals in the block, causing some push back from long term tenants.
