No. 82 Grade II Listed Norwich City Centre Flat

Tastefully decorated, clean, tidy, 5 min walk into the city and very cosy lounge and bedroom.

We couldn’t work out how to turn the underfloor heating on in the kitchen and bathroom, therefore as they both had tiles flooring and no other heating in those areas, it was a bit of a shock to the system when going from the lounge or bedroom. Also, the hot water in the shower only lasted for one person.

The location was great, just a few minutes walk into the city. The building has been sympathetically restored, and the flat is very comfortable. We enjoyed the local pub - the Weavers Arms - which is two minutes away. There is no parking but we were able to unload the car, then park in the multistorey 5 minutes away. The car park comes recommended from the hosts and us, but do be aware that two days' parking cost us £33.

St George Street can be a little noisy at night as revelers weave their uncertain ways home. The walls are thin and the windows single glazed. The lighting in the main room is rather feeble. A free-standing lamp near the table would help, whether its being used for eating or work.

What an amazing find! The flat is fabulous and everything has been really well thought out. The sofa and bed were really comfy. Cannot rate this place highly enough. We will be back because Norwich is just fabulous!
