Work Stay - Balcony - Parking - Full Kitchen

Like the balcony as got the morning sun. It was lovely and quiet.

Used to own bed and it was a little bit lumpy so didn't sleep well first night, I guess I'm used to a nice tempur style mattress at home. The fridge we didn't realise needed turning on so it wasn't cold before getting there. No shampoo, although didn't expect any, but there wasn't any hand wash available either. We had a nightmare finding the front door to the place in the dark and you couldn't park just in the single bay allocated as there's a bin to the side so I was parked over into the other bay slightly and worried that someone would park next to it and damage the car or I wouldn't be able to get in.

the keys and parking lot was very far from the entrance to the building. there was not enough space for our car! the seating in the kitchen was not suitable for the purpose. the location was not what we expected!

Location was good, short drive into Swansea or to the gower peninsula. Close by to shops

Parking space is not useable due to a large storage box. Very grubby, all paint work throughout was scuffed and marked. Tv remote did not work so unable to change channel. Tv and tv stand covered in thick dust and cup marks. Bathroom had a nail popping out, sink unit falling apart, no handwash and the shower curtain was covered in mold. Mattresses very thin however bedding was clean.

Relatively good location but not the simplest to find when you get to Phoebe Street. Also lock box is located a fair way away from the property in an allocated parking slot that cannot be used due to a waste ‘box’ being sited on a side wall rather than at the end of the slot. ( To use the parking slot would mean taking almost half of the adjoining slot!!! ( many other parking slots have the waste box against the back wall making the parking slots usable)

Key lock box is remote from the apartment front door , and is located in the allocated parking slot. WHY?? The parking slot is un-usable as there is a waste ‘box’ fixed to the wall approx half way along the side wall. Using the slot would have meant taking almost almost half the next slot, and as we did not know if it would be used meant we COULD NOT and WOULD NOT use the allocated slot. PS almost all other allocated parking slots had the bin fixed to the rear wall so slots were usable. AGAIN WHY WAS IT IN THE WAY??? Lounge TV remote did not work, so tried the batteries from the bedroom remote, and these worked for a while. Called customer service (Marcelle) who arranged for replacement the following day, but by the time we got back these were ‘burned out’ and did not work. (Thankfully a couple of extras had been provided, but we still took the batteries out each morning to make sure the remote worked. These things need to be checked as part of the servicing after each each booking. Also the bedroom central light bulb kept flickering and eventually packed up all together. We did assume as there was a bed settee in the lounge and that bedding would be available. Wrong none was there so we asked for some on the first night and were told it would be delivered the next day. Well we never ever saw it even, when we left it was still not there. Sadly customer service seems to have failed us inspite of saying they were there to help!

Arrival instructions very confusing, with 2 car park spaces with same No. H02. Confusing to find flat key, when found box would not open. Was informed to bang it, which worked. Found the sofa “put you up” very uncomfortable, also a lack of bedding for it.

There were plates, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, etc. all prepared and ready to be used. Close to stores and a couple of nice walking/biking trails. It was especially nice to have a washer to use during the stay. Having a balcony was especially nice to use in the mornings.

Some of the dishes were greasy or dirty when in cupboards. The TV remotes weren't working either, even when placing new batteries in them. The shower head in the bathroom would start moving because of the pressure. Although the bed wasn't terrible, there were moments it felt like the springs were digging into us.
