Shepherd’s Hut - The Mule

Absolutely loved our stay in this shepherd's hut. Beautiful inside and out. We were very lucky to have a night of really good weather and did a bit of star gazing and plane spotting with the fire pit lit - perfect evening! The hut itself is amazing - comfortable king sized bed, great sized bathroom and everything you need in the kitchen. The view from the hut is stunning - what a view to wake up to! Being on a working farm it was great to see the sheep and cows around. Also loved our visits from Betty, the owners little dog - what a cutie! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay! Would highly recommend!

The fire alarm is above the bed and the light coming off it is quite bright during the night. Also, I recommend taking ear plugs. The cows and sheep like to make a lot of noise early morning, which was a great experience to see/hear but also disruptive to sleep.

Owners were friendly, surrounded by animals, hut was nice . Owners did a information pack with things to do and places to eat . Will be going back

Everything, was surprised by how nice everything was, perfect for a chilled out break, and a lovely peaceful place would definitely recommend

Lovely and clean, bathroom inside the hut was a bonus. Unlimited wood for the fire was great. Very comfy bed. Extremely peaceful and lovely views.
