Dreamwood Cottage, Loch Lomond, Luxury Apartment.

Property was fantastic- very clean and well equipped. Easy check in and check out was great and owners went up and beyond for us - they decorated cottage for Christmas beautifully- that was completely unexpected but very much appreciated as we spent our Christmas with little child there. Fireplace was amazing and we loved information book - informative and useful.

Gorgeous little cottage. Spotlessly clean and welcoming. We had a very relaxing stay at Dreamwood Cottage. Everything you need is there including a lovely log burner. Good location for exploring Loch Lomond.

The cottage is comfortable, modern, and clean. Its a great size with one large bathroom and a second separate toilet too. Much larger than expected. It has central heating and a log burner. There were plenty of cups and crockery provided. Tea and coffee (ground coffee for a cafetiere). The kitchen is lovely and has everything you'd need. Beautifully renovated. Bed is huge and very comfortable! TV in the main living space had sky, which was handy and meant there was plenty to watch. The TV in the bedroom had a firestick, which was asking for a code to be able to access any apps such as netflix. The host provided the code quickly after we messaged. We were then able to log into apps with our own details. Location was great. Just a short drive from loch lomond. There's a co-op a short drive away for supplies if needed. We did a distillery tour nearby at Glengoyne. We enjoyed that and would recommend it. Hand-wash provided at sinks and washing up liquid. Sponges were brand new to wash up with. Plenty space for parking. A small outdoor seating space if you like sitting outside / the weather permits.

The cottage is great and this didnt impact the stay and is just something to be aware of...the wheely bins outside of the gate, on the side of the main road are a little bit in the way of the view when trying to exit the cottage onto the 60mph road. Therefore, blocking the view of any oncoming traffic. Maybe the brown bins could be moved back a little to help with this. This may not be the case all of the time and could have just been collection time. Although the linnens and towels were obviously clean and had been washed, they had an odd smell, like sour milk. Which was off-putting and I ended up not using them. I felt a little awkward about the message I sent about the firestick when the response was a little abrupt. Felt a little like she didn't believe us. It's difficult through message to get tone of voice across, so im sure the host probably didn't mean to be blunt. Being a little more friendly or aware of how the message may come across could go a long way. We're a couple in our mid 30s, we know how technology works, and we had tried everything before messaging. I've read some of the review responses on here since our stay, which also feel a little abrupt and sometimes seem rude when there's any negative / constructive criticism in reviews. If I'd read the responses before booking, I might have thought twice about staying here if I'm completely honest. Especially with the host being next door and on site.

Beautifully renovated cottage, warm and well appointed. A great base for exploring the region.

Close to a busy road and without some provisions found in most other accomodation we’ve stayed in.

We loved our stay at Dreamwood Cottage. The host was very friendly and helpful and the cottage itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is also very convenient for exploring the region.

It is very cosy and well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped.

We could sometimes hear the cars passing outside as the cottage is directly on the main road.
