Dreamwood Cottage, Loch Lomond, Luxury Apartment.

Lovely cottage, very comfy and felt private. Easy to access Loch Lomond and surrounding areas by car. Bed was comfortable and the property itself was very clean. They even left some wood for us if we wanted to use the log burner, sadly it was a little too warm for us during August to do that but would have been a cosy way to end an evening. It was great that we could bring our dog and he had the best time! There are so many beautiful places for walking and hiking and we would definitely come back! Easy to access the key box. Elaine was easy to reach if we needed any info or help.

The only thing that was a little difficult for us was driving off the property as it leads onto a main road and we could not really see round the corner coming out (which is not the hosts fault because it is how the property is positioned but something to be mindful of) Fortunately however, the road was mostly quiet.

Compact and clean property.

Close proximity to a busy main road makes sitting in the garden noisy. We were unaware that the hosts property was on the same site. This meant we had very little privacy.

Beautiful and so relaxing the owners were great and friendly and I couldn’t think of a reason why you wouldn’t like it!! Amazing

Beautiful interiors and quite spacious for 2 people

Lack of grass for the dogs and in the living space not all windows had curtains or blinds - this could be particularly important if using the sofa as a sofa bed

The cottage itself is beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean. We felt at home immediately and were particularly impressed with the size of the apartment and quality of both the finish and all of the furnishings. The location was perfect for us. We ran up a local hill "The Dumpling" a couple of times directly from the cottage and were a short drive from the beautiful village of Balmaha where we also found a trail to run right on the banks of Loch Lomond. It is also next to the RSPB reserve where you can find more trails. Any walk you could want will be listed in the visitor information which is kindly provided. Very close to Drymen as well which had a good leisure facility and lovely cafe (Skoosh).
