Well equipped kitchen

Bed linen had seen better days, paper thin duvet’s. Unable to use the shower because there were no towels. Parking is some distance away.

The apartment was spotless and comfortable and in a great location. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

We coped with the stairs but could be very difficult with either young children or people with mobility issues.

It was good to have bread and milk provided, with a selection of jams etc, in re-usable little jars.

Awkward top bedroom; distance to the loo from there (through several rooms). The entrance stairs should, I feel, have a rail towards the top, in case of slipping.

Great location, everything you need, comfy beds. Flat was very clean and David was a great host, gave very clear instructions on how to get in and the place was spotless. He also kindly accommodated our request for a late checkout as well. Would very much recommend!

Not a criticism but worth noting the second bedroom (as is the case in a lot of these places) is through the first. That being said it's up another flight of stairs and closed off by a door so still feels private enough.

Nice place to relax in

Two sets of very steep stairs. Great for able. Not so good for seniors who may not be 100% able or small children or families with prams etc.

Great location. David provided comprehensive information prior to arrival. The property is clean & comfortable with a quirky layout. We loved the fresh wholemeal bread - delicious. Provisions for breakfast helpful too. For real coffee, St Kilda coffee shop is just opposite. The M&S toiletries are a nice touch too. This was a cosy apartment and we enjoyed our stay.
