Location is amazing, near to all the amenities that you need but when at location feels like no one is around. The accommodation is a perfect set up, we were a couple with a 1 year old baby and a dog. The house was very clean had everything you needed. Host was friendly when we spoke to him a few times and very helpful with things to do. Icing on the cake was the outdoor area that is part of herons rest, the river running through the bottom with woodland area and lots of toys, swings and wooden boat were fantastic. A mowed area with a football goal all of which were a huge hit with baby and dog and it would be a lovely place to spend an evening on the seating provided!

First time visiting Scotland and we absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic. A few minutes drive to the Loch Ness and 20min to beautiful Inverness. Shops and take aways within short driving distance. The apartment has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, we loved the water in the shower and it was clean overall. Nice patio outside with sitting area and bbq. The hosts are lovely and very helpfull. Strongly recommended. We will be back!

Nothing to dislike. It was fantastic overall

The hosts are very nice and care about their guests being comfortable. There were many little touches to make us feel welcome. I liked the signs directing us to the Heron's Rest, and using the What-3-Words app made locating the property easy. The place is well stocked with spices for cooking. We liked being so close to Glen Affric, a beautiful forest, and Urquhart castle.

Everything was great.
