Herons Rest

It was quiet and so relaxing in a perfect location for travelling around the area, hiking and walking the dog. The hosts were fantastic too :-)

Nothing it was amazing

by a river and somewhere to put your head at night

said it was in drumnadrochit but was a good mile out of the village and on a very busy road. Noise from road and couldn’t view where the property was until booked. Was sold as including a river walk but could only walk to the river but not along it for any distance.

Location was private and peaceful but close enough for a short drive to the local village. Hosts were welcoming and very helpful.

Perfect little cottage. Lovely and clean, bed comfortable. Everything we needed was in there. Log burner made the stay homely and warm. Definitely recommend.

No dislikes but a few more items in the cutlery drawer might be a very minor comment, things like a bottle opener, lighter, pizza cutter (for the amazing pizzeria just 5 mins away 🤤

Nice detached cottage for guests with fully equiped kitchen, nice bathroom with shower, sitting and sleeping rooms. Owners are nice to comunicate, replies were fast. Private parking was provided.

Everything was good.

A beautiful, snug Lodge perfect for a couple in a great location for exploring the local areas. Not sure I could have asked for anything additional from the stay!
