8 Berth The Chase Ingoldmells (Horizon)

Size of caravan, 3 bedrooms and having a full bathroom then a seperate toilet was good. Beds were comfy and clean. Also having a decking area was helpful to keep door open for my little dog to go outside when he wanted.

Walking distance from van to main Central Ingoldmells entertainment was quite a trek when doing it every day. No cut through via other caravan parks. Caravan was generally clean but very much lacked attention to detail with cleanliness. Sofas looked in desperate need of a good clean (water marked/stained). Cooker and hob worked only just to cook as clearly old. Neither heated up well and seal gone around oven door so didn't hold the heat took forever just to cook oven chips. Only 1 small tray for oven cooking. Fridge was dirty internal trays and seal not been cleaned for quite some time. I cleaned fridge whilst staying there. Kitchen sink sponge/soap holder was dirty inside. Not been dusted for quite a time on livingroom window sills, blinds and other surfaces such as shelving, TV unit, skirting boards and under radiators. Lots of unnecessary plastic plates bowls etc but not enough proper plates and bowls. Clothes airer was broken and not usable.

Quiet location on site would recommend

Van its self was livable not the cleanest on arrival lots of stains on seating area,communication with staff was not good to this day i have not had a code for keys to mine or my partners phone we had to ring for it and staff was a bit snotty about it saying hed sent it if he had i dont no were he sent it,would not book through them again due to staff communication

Good location Caravan was decent and clean for what we paid

It got cold at night sometimes and electric heaters took a while to warm the caravan through

Time away

it was clean but smelled. All the dehumidifiers was full of water(old ones) so did not do the job. Patio chair on veranda busted so stayed away from that end. Yellow stains on veranda too.Got some spray to get rid of smell. Think the smell was due to caravan being damp. You think it would of been checked before we got there.

Great value for money!! Clean caravan it was a last min break with the kids!! They loved it! 2 min walk to the shop!! Will definitely booking again for a last minute get away
