"Exceptional"

We had wonderful 2-night stay at The Thistle Apt in July 2025. The location is absolutely perfect just 250 metres from Princes Street, making it super easy to explore Edinburgh on foot. The apartment was clean, cozy, and full of charm, exactly like the photos. The communication with the host was smooth from booking to check-in, and everything was well-organized.

The apartment is situated in a gorgeous building. It was an easy walk to the Royal Mile, as well as buses and trains. Plenty of food options close to the apartment too. Apartment was well equipped. Cute living area and a small kitchen. Main bedroom was small but both had ensuites.

The bed in the master room was very small and pillows uncomfortable.

"Great apartment in great location"

The apartment is very quaint, fantastic central location in a pretty, cobblestone street. Apartment is comfortable and it has everything we needed. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was above Thistle Street Bar which did not present any problem for most of our stay but one evening the socialisation moved outside (front and back of the property) and it was too loud for our children to go to sleep.

"We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Thistle Suite!"

Location was about 15 min walk to Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Very close to many pubs. We especially liked the Thistle Street Pub right below the suite.

The double bed was a little tight for two adults.
