"It was close to Edinburgh castle."

The apartment was close to Edinburgh castle which I had asked for.

The 72 stairs that I had to carry suitcases up, I understand about no elevator in older buildings, but, being older it was difficult for me to take cases up and then down. Plus it was very noisy until 2-3am each night.

"Great location."

Location and well maintained.

It’s on a third floor and no rise elevator available. Need to climb 73 stair steps to get to it. Loud street noise from bars till 3 am.

Small 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of Edinburgh, great location and our host Jeff was incredible, very responsive and helpful.

The access to the property via many stairs was too much for us unfortunately. And also many of the cups and plates put back in the cupboards weren’t cleaned property

We had a great time in Edinburgh. The apartment was perfect for our needs. We unfortunately had our scariest parenting moment with our 1 year old son at the apartment and Jeff was unbelievably responsive and helpful!!! We truly can't thank him enough.

The apartment is above two bars that are open and loud until well past 3am on the weekends. This did not detract from our stay, but is worth knowing if you are sensitive to noise.

Nothing

Everything. Poor quality, damaged, not clean and expensive. Could have stayed in an apartment hotel for half the price. Bloody stairs nearly killed me. Not explained properly on description. 400 pounds a night I would expect better quality and clean. Very dissatisfied. Not enough room for horror photos. Broken blinds and I could go on and on.

Location was great. A 5-10 minute walk to Grassmarket or the Royal Mile. Close to overnight parking (probably why I chose this location). Great communication with Host. Not noisy, pretty quiet.

There were a lot of stairs - I can't remember reading about that (I may have). I went to use extra sheet/cover for the pull out and it had some stains on it so I did not use. Not a lot of seating for a party of 5. For one of the showers you had to go to the utility closet to turn on hot water and let warm up.

Awkward entry to the bathroom (off the living room), 3 very long flights up (72 stairs), carpet and looking worn, no hooks or shelves in bathroom for toiletries
