Eagle Cottage

The stay was comfortable, spacious and homely. Check in and out was easy. We liked the throws on the sofa and found it cozy! We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back sometime. We went to one of the recommended Spanish restaurants nearby and really enjoyed it! :)

Would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge or longlife milk sachets, alongside tea and coffee options. Also shower gel would have been appreciated. :)

Very comfortable apartment, just needs a couple of things sorting out, including parking situation.

Kevin was very helpful with everything we needed to know about getting to Eagle Cottage and did a run through of the facilities over the phone . Our arrival went seamlessly and it is easy to access Penrith from the cottage, a five minute walk to the centre of the town . The cottage was very clean, and was equipped with all the kitchen equipment we needed. The beds are comfortable and the shower was great.

The property was fantastic , had everything that we needed ,shower was fab ,and the big double bed was one of the best nights sleep I've had for a long time , I suffer from terrible arthritis .

Stairs up to the property , very steep but still manageable , tight parking space if you have a large car ,we had a Hilux ,but still managed if a bit tricky

Super comfortable, lovely character apartment and in a quiet, beautiful residential area, close to centre of town. Very helpful owners who were quick to respond. I was so comfortable here during my stay. Sofas and bed were super comfy and good kitchen with all amenities needed. A home from home.

Eagle Cottage has all the convenience of a modern home with the style and features of a historic cottage. It is very centrally located, with an easy 10 minute walk into town. Located up one flight of stairs, at the back of another building, it was quiet and peaceful with a nice outlook. We particularly liked the coat rack and bench in the front hall - easy to remove shoes and jackets. The bathroom and kitchen are modern, stylish and spacious, with everything we needed, including dishwasher and washing machine. Central heating was easy to use. Hosts were quick to respond to queries.

A clothes airer/rack to hang wet washing on would be great.
