The Annex at Pantglas Farm

It was nice and quiet. Clean. The TV bed was a massive bonus for the evening. Instructions were sent to me on how to enter the property and it was lovely to see the horses out of the window. Also a nice path close by where you can walk the dog if you have one with you. The grounds are secure when the gates close. There's a nice secure patio area with the annex. Didnt see the owners much, they seem to let you carry on which I liked and they always got back to messages too. Only 10 minute drive away from Talbot green with all the shops. Good location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was very relaxing. Instructions messaged to me for arrival were easy to follow.

There is one sofa in the living area that looks lovely but isnt comfortable, but i didnt use it anyway as they had another sofa there which was comfortable enough. I thought the bed was really comfortable but my other half struggled it was quite soft but I loved it. They have secure grounds that are gated so it was nice to be able to take the dog for a walk, but couldn't walk her around there when the owners dogs were out as they barked a lot and one of them went for my dog and my dog is a really nervous dog. There was a nice secure patio area in the annex for the dog, but not a private garden. But luckily there is a nice dog walking path near by. We however loved our weekend there and found it very relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful surroundings, a lovely clean space with everything we needed for the weekend . The most adorable doggy’s that greeted us for belly rubs. The annex felt very private , spacious, modern and such good value for money

Not too far from town , country surroundings.

Had problems getting in as not ready despite given arrival time in advance. No prwarning so waiting in rain with luggage . Had to ring first for correct gate access code. Once in no instructions about property or welcome sheet. Had to ring again to get WiFi details. Place not properly cleaned as done in a hurry. Floors and surfaces still wet. Bathroom not cleaned with scale and mould on shower and around the tray area. Outside access had dog poo in area all week.

Location

Couldn’t get hold of property owner for the final instructions on were to collect key. We ended up contacting booking. Com it was very stressful. Supposed to have been dog friendly but our dog got attacked three of the owners dogs. Four adults went and only three folks and no Wi-Fi code. Wouldn’t book this property again.

Location was quite good and easy access to shopping centre

Very well thought out apartment spotlessly clean

Noisy machinery in the morning , had to wait for bedding even though it had been requested at the time of booking

Good size accommodation for two people, warm.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Dirty meat tray still in the oven & covered in grease,, other trays so old theyy were not usable, stained chopping board and dirty utensils. Kitchen dish drainer needed cleaning before it could be used, cups badly stained. We didn't cook there. Dusty bases on bar stools, many sticky finger marks on TV. Lots of dust coming out of bottom of radiators. Shower base mouldy & extraction fan fu of dust. Welcome pack consisted of 3 tea bags, two coffee sachets sugar sachets, and 1 pkt of two biscuits and no milk provided as stated. Pillows had no covers and were yellow sweat stained. No hairdryer as stated. Blind was broken and frayed. Dog faeces on path leading from car park area and as it was dark it got on our shoes. No welcome pack to show how TV worked etc. No WiFi password supplied, although owner did eventually respond to my message for the code the next day. The electric garage doors went directly underneath the property and were very noisy when the owners opened and closed them. All in all, very disappointed indeed, not the standard we would expect.
