Queen Street Apartments

The property needed a deep clean! It wasn’t very clean, from weird marks all over the sofa to the toilet being disgusting. The overall quality of the apartment needs updating, mould is growing on the windows and in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi didn’t work all weekend, and the door wouldn’t lock properly locking myself in until my partner came back and i had to slid the key under the door. We couldn’t lock the door on the last night so left the door unlocked as we slept. We did message the property manager but never heard back. Wouldn’t recommend! Safe your money.

The whole apartment was filthy and very dated

Heating was good, overall the flat was fine STAIRS A MASSIVE PROBLEM 😢

Massive problem with the stairs should of been informed on Web site as they were very steep as me and my partner had difficulties climbing them we have bad knees, broken toilet seat, bedroom window needs the panel taking off over the window and filling with expanding foam when the wind blows it makes a lowd whistling sound and you can't sleep there must be a big whole behind the Panel, no ikea bag to put the bed clothes in,

Location excellent - right bang in middle of town. easy to access amenities. Would have preferred parking facilities

overall - cant complain - may be a mirror in the bedroom would be a good idea and a dustbin in the bathroom.

Had a fridge and a microwave. Thats about it!

Non Existent Wifi and data-I came for work purposes, and as the advert said ‘free wifi’. This was a massive con, as indeed there was no wifi at all. I rang the person allegedly managing the property and the person on the other end didn’t have a clue what was going on! I then sent numerous emails complaining about the lack of wifi and data and I was sent back sarcastic responses about checking out! Appalled by the lack of service after sending a huge sum here! Smell-There was also a horrible smell of damp which hit you right in the face as soon as you enter the property! Had to get air freshener to get rid of it but even that didnt work! Seeing as I planned to work from here majority of my stay, I was disappointed to say the least. Location-If you’re willing to deal with loud drunks and rowdy locals during the night, be well equipped with noise cancelling headphones to help you sleep! The location is right next to a few pubs which isn’t exactly ideal when you plan to sleep quite early! Customer Service- Non Existent! Which customer service company doesn’t acknowledge their mistakes and tries to send sarcastic remarks back when you bring up various issues? The fact you cant contact the property manager yourself tells you all you need to know! Shambles!

4th time I've stayed in these beautiful apartments. Spotless as always and fantastic hosts. Thank you so much for the lovely wine & chocolates xx
