Cosy Victorian Apartment - Central York

This is THE most beautiful place we could have ever hoped for. The property is beautiful, fully equipped on a perfect quiet street 5 minutes walk from the city walls. It’s warm, cosy, and just perfection. It also has a bath tub you could swim in, it might need a life guard it is so roomy and large. We would live in it permanently if possible.

Very cosy indeed! A lovely, comfortable place that is very well equipped (e.g. plenty of hot drink options, plus fresh milk in the fridge). It's clear the host put a lot of thought and care into making this a welcoming space. Very good location for exploring the town centre on foot (but in a quiet wee back street), with off-street parking, and a super helpful host who went above and beyond when I got in touch about something I thought I'd accidentally left behind.

The cottage was just as described in the listing and photos and was perfect for our stay in York. Really good location close to the city centre and great to have a car space/ permit. It was very clean and came with everything we needed.

My husband does like a very firm bed but this is a personal preference. For me the bed was very comfortable and supportive.

Described as cosy however we found it more spacious than described. It was well kitted out, clean and comfortable.

Very close to city centre. Good kitchen, comfy sofa, nice selection of books, cool railway pictures, chess board, big bath.

Bathroom floor had not been cleaned and smelled like a public loo. Toilet flush handle cut my finger, double bed mattress was too soft. I sank into it and got stiff neck, I tried to adjust the height of the shower head and the whole water pipe popped out of the main control unit. Spraying water everywhere.
