Excellent location in the heart of Saltburn-By-The-Sea

Only a single toilet roll left despite description plural Heater in bathroom defective Various light bulbs defective Bathroom shower cubicle mouldy No towel or cleaning products in property. This is the first property, over many years, that there were no cleaning products, I deal with property rentals and if you want them kept clean by short stayers at least leave the basics. Whoever is responsible for the maintenance/cleaning of the property need’s reviewing. Host & Stay charged an administration charge of £10 for handling the £250 deposit. This was refunded by Booking.com as clearly shown on contract agreement that there were NO additional charges, a bit of a scam by Host & Stay.

The bed was really comfy, the apartment was a good size and rooms arranged well. The location was spot on. I was worried that noise from the pub next door would be too much but once inside a didn’t hear a thing.

Cleanliness of the property could have been better eg. cobwebs everywhere, brown stain behind the toilet roll. Property needs a refresh, stains on rug, shower tray awfully scummy sealant inside and out. What really affected me though was the bright light coming in through the bedroom window. I was woken up at 5 every morning.

Good location. Would have liked to be on the seafront but this was next best thing

The entrance hall smelt constantly of cigarettes. The heated towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work . The sofa was exceptionally shabby. Not a drop of washing up liquid to clean up after eating. That said . It did the job

The location was excellent and it was warm.

The settee and rug were filthy and it made the rest of the place feel really dirty. The crockery and glasses all needed cleaning too. There were plenty of dishwasher tablets but weirdly no dishwasher!!! The company has a stealth way of taking money from you too. You either take a one off insurance to cover breakages or you pay a deposit and get CHARGED £10 for them to return YOUR money. This cannot be right. You message them about all of the above and there is no response. Smoke alarm and wires also hanging out too. They do not provide you with the check in details before you pay the above and even when you do pay they do not promptly send you details making you wait and call them AGAIN.

Great location, lovely clean and tidy apartment, well equipped.

The bathroom was freezing, the heated towel rail was not working, I have stayed before and it worked fine then.

The apartment has everything you need for a multi-day stay. The private parking is very handy. Location is great, close to beach, public transport and the supermarket. The heating works really well.

I've stayed here before and everything was great but this time the bedroom had a really pungent smell. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from but all the bedding reeked of it and made it hard to sleep.

The location was good, just a stone's throw from where we wanted to be.

The shower cubicle was very dirty, black mould and gunge in the bottom of it. Under the bed was really dusty. Although there was a washing machine, there was nowhere to hang the wet clothes. The sofa in the front room is nothing like in the picture, it was so uncomfortable, not good when you need to sit upright after having a stomach operation, the rug was filthy. The deposit money is an absolute disgrace, they take £10 or you could pay a £25 waiver with no deposit, after you have paid for the room.
