Dean Village Hideaway by Calton Living

Location was great, right in the heart of Dean Village. The apartment is tiny but is super comfortable. Heating was excellent, kitchen was well prepared, lots of storage and the bed itself was good.

Could be cleaner, specially on the front door!

This is the second time I have chosen to stay at this accommodation and that is an indication of my satisfaction, given the wide range of other accommodation available. The price is reasonable, the location excellent and the property is just as described

David was super responsive and always helpful! The location is not only picturesque and gorgeous but is very accessible by both bus and tram. The accomodation is a lovely, charming apartment in Deans village - though you should be aware that this is a tourist location so often during the day the streets surrounding the apartment can get busy with tourists, but we never had any issues. The apartment has the bedroom, which follows onto a lovely sitting/dining area and a kitchen well-stocked with cutlery and appliances, including a toaster and kettle. The apartment also has a central thermostat which makes adjusting the temperature super easy! As well as having a washing machine and drying rack which we used without any issues.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable at times as it had hard edges that come up around the mattress, but this didn’t affect sleep at all!

property was clean and cosy as the name suggests… although maybe needs updating and toilet facilities need fixing as has to physically hold up the toilet lid to use it.. other than that the apartments did the job and we had a great weekend away

Had everything you need for a reasonable length of stay in Edinburgh. Fridge, freezer cooker and washing machine. Lovely historical location.

Loose toilet seat.. kept closing on you. Television technology...better explanations on how to get television to work. I am a technology dinosaur 🦕 and didn't have and couldnt find the right app for my phone.

This is a ground-floor apartment, so if you want privacy, the blinds and curtains need to be drawn It would have been nice to have had a lounge area, but the owner has done all he can with the space to make it comfortable

David provided very clear instructions and photographs of where to find the key box and how to open and close it. Also very clear instructions of how to get to the property. I booked this on behalf of my parents who stayed over the weekend and they both loved it. Fantastic location, cosy and immaculate apartment in a wonderful area.
