Spacious apartment fully equipped, above a pub where they have fantastic food and friendly staff. Instant coffee and cereal are available. Truly a beautiful green environment. It is within walking distance of the Monsal trail and the Chee dale stepping stones.

Everything was good, only the carpet in the bathroom gave me the creeps

Location for walking and cycling on the Monsal trail and walks in the area. Quiet area and great menu for evening meals.

A larger fridge than the one fitted particularly in a self catering property. Entrance door needs attention.

Staff at the pub are excellent very accommodating 5 star all round will be back again 😀

Absolutely drop dead gorgeous location, fantastic little pub with friendly staff and really well set up little apartment with everything needed for several days stay

Not their fault of course, but there is a bit of traffic on the road outside; with windows open in summer because of the heat, it led to some early wakeups.

the food and beer is bang on

can be a challenge to park I think they should have a look at putting parking infrint of the apartment

An ideal base for fishing the nearby Cressbrook and Litton stretch of the river Wye. Fantastic having facilities for self catering, however both nights of our stay we ate at the pub which serves, delicious, generous meals, great beer too.

Absolutely nothing, however if we’d stayed more than two nights a larger fridge would’ve been appreciated.

A charming place in a beautiful location near a babbling brook! Extremely well equipped with extra goodies not found elsewhere in our travels so far. The apartment was spacious and pleasantly furnished with good parking facilites. WiFi coverage was excellent. Tasty wholesome meals available in the pub. Loved being in this part of the world. Staff pleasant and helpful. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Perfect location, gorgeous setting, you can be on the Monsal trail in minutes! Cosy, dog friendly apartment, just right for a couple of nights. Ate in the pub on our first night, staff seemed friendly, (thanks for the milk) and food was nice. We had many great walks and enjoyed our stay.

If you struggle with stairs, you have to climb quite steep steps to get up to the apartment from the front of the pub, fine for us though. Door to apartment, stiff to open and close. Low brick wall, and quite busy road so didn’t feel safe letting our dog off his lead in the garden area.
