Anglers rest

Apartment at the rear of the inn premises. All facilities for cooking, fridge cooker,microwave,TV Sky. Rustic and comfortable, clean. Pub EM very good, location excellent very scenic which is NO 1 why you stay here.

Cars past the bedroom window, not many and not a problem. Other than that everything fine.

Location is superb and the (attached) pub is exceptional!

The front door really needs sorting (my wife could barely open/close it) and the shower is rubbish.

The Anglers Rest Appartment has everything in it you need for a stay with the added bonus of being dog friendly. The location is absolutely stunning with many walks to enjoy or just relax. The Anglers Rest is a jewel in the crown, the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they also serve food which is to die for it tastes so good and there's a variety to choose from, the pub is also dog friendly. I couldn't rate Anglers Rest enough

Very comfortable cottage. Quiet (even though close to a road) with a very comfortable double bed. A good living room and kitchenette with complimentary breakfast cereals and hot chocolate, coffee and tea. TV worked just fine and it looked as if the whole place had been decorated recently. Tastefully decorated. All amenities such as oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Had 2 lovely, hearty meals in the Angler's Rest pub in the evenings. Large portions and good, honest food. Served in a charming pub atmosphere with very friendly staff.

The only gripe was the shower. NOT it's small size because this is a converted small cottage - but the electric shower is old and could not provide hot water hot enough to be pleasant. Tepid at best and the shower head didn't seem to be the one that fitted the holder, so it kept falling out. The cottage is very close to a lovely river and walking trails, so you need a good hot shower after a day fishing or walking. Hopefully, it will be upgraded soon

Really appreciated the supply of various breakfast cereals, milk, tea and coffee. A lovely touch. Thank you ! The Anglers Arms is a very welcoming, perfectly positioned pub serving great food and real ale. The apartment is very private and contains everything you need for a few days away. Some fabulous walks on the doorstep. As mentioned the water pressure isn't brilliant but more than adequate, given the property is fed from a water tank, not from the mains. Thanks again for a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Brilliant place been numerous times and always had a great time the hosts so friendly and the pub staff,food and drink excellent will be back again beautiful location 😀
