Eastside View Apartment

Location was very handy although the car was a bit of a walk away! Very clean and well appointed.

We managed ok. but the stairs were a challenge. Especially the spiral staircase to get to the double bedroom.

EVERYTHING

Very clean and strategic place. Super comfortable and the facilities are very complete too. Just need to climb up a few stairs to reach the room. But I think this is quite common when staying in UK. So it wouldn't impact us much.

We liked that it was a convenient location on Silver Street. We know Whitby well and knew it wasn't far from the car park, so it was easy to get our bags to the apartment, although the owner offers a parking permit you can hire if you want to do that. The apartment is well fitted out with nice combined sitting/kitchen area and all was clean.

We didn't like the spiral staircase that led up to the main bedroom ! However, this WAS shown in the photos so it was entirely my own fault for booking an aprtment that had that ! However I will say that it was , to me, much more precarious than it looked, I went up it and down it only once and thought if I had to get up for the bathroom (on floor below) I would have fallen down them.I'm not ancient, and am resonably fit, easily managing the stairs to the aprtment itself BUT that spiral was more acute than it looked, so if you're not 100% fit, maybe that apartment isn't for you.My husband did manage to negotiate the staircase, he slept up there and came down with extreme caution, I had to sleep in the bottom bunkbed downstairs which was far from ideal ! Otherwise , everything else was ok.

Great views. Clean. Good location within Whitby

As others have said, there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment - but the views of the Abbey are worth it. Bunk beds are really creaky and the blind in that room doesn't block the light out very well.

Beautiful flat with everything you could want. The beds were comfy and the attic room was very peaceful. Brilliant location. Mary was extremely helpful.

A pint of milk might have been a nice touch.

The apartment was exceptionally clean on arrival. Mary was really great with any queries we had before and during our stay. She got back to us promptly. The apartment was located in a great place and had everything we needed. We also had a good night's sleep as the beds were very comfortable. The shower was fabulous. We would like to stay again if in the whitby area with our grandson.

There wasn't anything at all.
