Hidden gem apartment in picturesque village close to Durham

Clean and comfortable bed in a lovely quiet location.

Crossing the courtyard to get to the bathroom and bedrooms, especially in the rain. One or two minor updates/repairs needed, which would make a big difference to the comfort of one’s stay,

Mike was super helpful, very friendly and accommodating.

A lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Situated in a small village, with the feeling you are miles from anywhere, however close enough to little villages if needed. Lovely walks, car rides and views for miles in the car. Everything was lovely and clean and all you would need to be home from home. The bed was so comfortable, with lovely quality bedding too. Full central heating, with the added bonus of a wood burning fire in the living area. Having our dog with us too was no problem at all. (This was a must for us). We will definitely book again. Especially when its warmer, as it has a lovely courtyard area with tables, chairs, log burner and area for a bbq, where you can sit out. Lovely all round! There was on the 2 of us, but there is the potential, in this 2 bedroom cottage to sleep 9 where we slept. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Mike our host was lovley he kept in contact over the phone and popped in to say hi rooms was lovley and clean what a lovley village we stayed in lovley outside area to sit and relax we would defo come back

Well equipped kitchen and comfortable clean beds

Needs a new couch in living room and didn't have enough comfortable chairs to sit on ,the courtyard is rather overcrowded and some kind of light so you can see we're your going at night when going over to the other building were beds and toilet were

The bedrooms and bathroom were in a separate building. Ok in the summer I guess but not winter or young families, not mentioned in the add.

Cosy, comfortable & well equipped. Excellent night sleep. Good shower & plenty of hot water. We were up in the area visiting relatives in villages nearby. so an ideal location for us. Lovely rural setting, peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed walking in the area. No shops or pubs in the village but all accessible a short drive away. Wonderful patio area which we sadly could not make use of because of the weather but what can you expect in November. Friendly host and good communication. Thank you.
