Spacious and bright 1 - bedroom rental unit

Really cosy property with parking. It felt welcoming with a beautifully proportioned lounge. The whole property was furnished with good quality furniture. There is an excellent independent supermarket 2 minutes walk away to buy fresh bread for breakfast.

The bathroom was a bit narrow, but this would not stop us from staying again.

The flat was impeccable clean. Coffee, sugar,milk was there as well as many basics. The owner was brilliant when I needed to know a few things. Close to everything. Highly recommend

A very comfortable and roomy apartment which was well stocked with everything you may need for a 3 night stay , including a washing machine, freezer, iron ironing board and microwave. With the parking restrictions in the immediate area it was an added bonus to be able to park your car off the road and directly adjacent to the property. Although the shower / toilet area was a bit on the snug size the shower itself was very good with plenty of hot water and quite powerful enabling a decent shower. The bed was very large & comfortable with a large chest of draws although there was no wardrobe. A supply of coat hangers would overcome this and the ability to perhaps hang on the rear door. The weather was very hot during our stay so we were grateful for the supplied fan in the bedroom. The lounge area was very large with a comfortable corner sofa. The small table and chairs were adequate & located in the lounge. The flowers were a nice touch and the biscuits were very welcome with a cup if tea on arrival using the small stock of tea and coffee and milk which were also provided.

Although the smart TV was large and connected to a sky TV box the screen does not display a great picture and does require some attention (or replacement) Likewise it was difficult to use the soundbar attached to the TV as the quality was poor despite trying to adjust via the sound menu. (Turned it off and used the TV sound only) The apartment faces onto the very busy main road, which doesn't really affect whilst in the bedroom., but it can be very noisy in the lounge, particularly during the morning and evening rush hours. More so of course if you need to open the windows during hot weather. Despite the above we were very pleased with our stay and WILL look to use the apartment again next year.

The property was well laid out and spotlessly clean. The river was only a minute walk away and Booths supermarket 2 minutes across the road. I think the parking space by the door may belong to the property but it wasn't clear as there was another flat in the building at ground level. However, unrestricted street parking is right next to the property so didn't cause us a problem. The biscuits and chocolate on arrival were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. Very well placed for walking over Ilkley Moor and the pubs in town.

It took a while to work the TV out as there were no instructions to be found anywhere in the property for anything. Curiously, there was a full size dishwasher fitted in the kitchen but not many plates. We cooked an evening meal both nights of our stay and having to hand wash crockery during the meal was inconvenient.

The property was great , clean and comfortable . The location was perfect , walking distance to Ilkley town centre, with parking . There was washing up liquid , dishwasher tablets and basic items to cook with such as oil and other condiments. The fridge had a pint of milk and tea and coffee. So kind and thoughtful

Nothing , maybe a few more cooking items such as baking trays but really it was such a great apartment with all the basics in it , unlike so many other places we’ve stayed in .

We travelled by rail so the location was very convenient for Ilkley station. Excellent food store (Booths) very close by. Enjoyable walks along the River Wharf.

The road traffic was a little noisy at times.

The location was pretty good for us. We had to travel by rail and did not have a car so as it was fairly central that was good. The flat was well equipped and tastefully decorated. The furniture in the bedroom was lovely quality and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent and the availability of hot water was very good.

The hi-tech looking curved TV simply did not work !! Someone had tried writing an 'idiots guide' list of instructions but they were not a great deal of help. We couldn't even get the news ! For us Netflix etc was of no interest but had it been we couldn't have accessed it ! The bed was very comfortable but the quilt was too small. Either my wife or myself ended up taking possession of the quilt during the night ............... ummm ! There was only 1 pillow each - not really enough. I was concerned because there was only one key. Had we hit a problem of any sort there was simply no-one we could have contacted for assistance. Not good.
