Property owner communicated well before the stay.

We didn't sleep here. After booking we saw there were two reviews from a week and fortnight previously with photos of bedbugs. We were not willing to take the risk of taking bedbugs back home with us. The room was not clean - (pubic) hair on the sheets, cobwebs, stained linen. We had to go and find another hotel. Customer service from Booking.com after the stay was not good, I was given a tiny refund of about 12% of what I paid.
