We were looking for a location among the mountains. To get away from the heat and humidity. That's why we chose this location. And the price was cheap

It was 40 degrees Celsius (104° F) outside. And there was a baking oven in the room. The air conditioner was broken, and the person in charge said a technician would come in the afternoon. And no one came. It was impossible to sleep at night because of the heat. The shower and the furniture are very old and neglected.

Nice swimming pool, good location for one night stay.

Only one thing I didn't like. The pillows too big, couldn't sleep well, everything else is perfect.

The smile of Anastasia

Peace & quiet, beautifully surrounded by mountains. Little village with 3 nice taverns with good food and nice staff. Refreshing and large swimming pool. Breakfast at the property was not included but was correct. Owners are responsive and friendly. Late check-out was not a problem.

When we arrived, our room was clearly not cleaned: we had to retract hair in the shower, there was hair glued to the bathroom walls, dead insects on the floor. We communicated with the owners (who were rarely onsite) and they sent someone to clean right away but it still wasn’t what a hostel room needs to be. The following days (we stayed for 10 nights), there were not really amends. The property is in desperate need of maintenance and renovation. Everything is old and nearly falls apart (they fixed the chairs with staples). In the bathroom there was a permanent stench coming from a drain with still water. 2 out of 3 mornings there was lukewarm water (at best) coming from the shower. The bed is hard and old. Kitchen supplies were very basic (no frying pan, no cutting board, no kitchen knife that cuts well enough). Dead insects were floating in the swimming pool, which was clearly not properly scrubbed and drained during the winter months. It was not maintained daily, as it’s supposed to be. During the weekend, the owner’s family were hesitant to take a dive themselves, looking at the state of it. Finally they took a net and retrieved the insects, which we ultimately did ourselves each morning. The owners told us it was the wind that made the pool dirty but they simply didn’t make the effort to clean it every morning, when they knew well enough that our purpose to stay with them for 10 nights was to use the pool. The tavern wasn’t open during our stay (31/05-10/06). This was briefed to us the day before our arrival, too late to cancel our stay. Its menu was also very different from the reviews we read about it. It was mainly snacks. The bar was a refrigerator where you could serve yourselves with cans of beer or refreshments, when someone of the staff was present. The owners’ answer to our remarks was that their service is limited because it was low season (early June). We paid 60€ per night, not expensive but also not a very good deal.

Friendly and helpful staff. Really good breakfast and nice area to eat by the pool in the shade. We liked that it was easy to hike from there. And very close to restaurants. We got a good recommendation from Anestasia and really enjoyed the food. It was a bonus for us to meet Anastasia‘s mother at the breakfast. We would recommend staying in there.

It would be nice if the kitchen was better equipped, including a trashcan for the kitchen area.
