nothing, the whole experience was wonderful, the scenery was to die for ,and the hosts were very friendly. the rooms were well equiped and the cleaniless was second to none .

The spot is magnificent within the mountains. The owners are very friendly. The roon was clean and comfortable.

The atmosphere at Elia Meronas is very positive and appealing, Maria welcomes you with open arms - literally! - as does her whole family, what nice children! She is full of energy and information about this area of Crete and is excited to share with you (don't miss walking in the Patsos Gorge). The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had room #1 with the spiral staircase which was very spacious, has a double bed and bathroom and two balconies upstairs and a trundle couch in the living room with 2nd bathroom nearby ....there was a child's portable crib too that we did not need. A small corner kitchenette with fridge kept our beer cold that we enjoyed on the outdoor front patio looking at the mountains. We attempted to swim in the large inviting pool but it was just too windy to be comfortable. We ate at the hotel for dinner and breakfast and it was delicious! We loved staying up in the mountains of Crete and WILL return! Thank you, Maria, for a fantastic stay!

not a thing to dislike

Cute little hotel in the mountains, ideal for checking out the beaches during the day and sleeping in the mountains (where it’s cooler) in the night. The hotel is very clean and everyone is super kind. Maria was very helpful and had lots of good recommendations for beaches with kids. The hotel is in a cute little village where we went for evening walks and ate in different tavernas every night. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend it.

Our breakfast was adequate for our stay. Many food choices. Maria greeted us with her usual beautiful smile, energetic welcome and desire to please us! Would not be the same place without her! Perfect location for us to stay for Ag Apostolos Panayeri - June 29.

Swimming pool was not clean around edges of pool. Had green algae stuck to the tiles. Rooms need freshening up; paint, art and larger bathroom facilities. Sign to hotel needs to be larger from street.
