Elia Meronas

Beautiful location in the middle of Crete, the family that run the hotel are absolutely awesome such great hospitality. Food at dinner was delicious, the pool was a nice bonus - bear in mind water was very cold but didn’t put us off. Had we known it was this good we would have stayed longer for sure.

The communication and welcome by Maria was exceptional. And the location was simply stunning. The bar area was really nice and there was a really friendly, happy vibe from staff and other guests.

Tue kitchen space was very cramped and not too well equipped but I understand refurbishments are planned very soon

A lovely place in a quiet village in the mountains. The view is beautiful, the swimming pool is very pleasant, and there are great possibilities of hikes and visits in the region. The rooms are simple but nice with great views and a balcony. The host, Maria is great and very helpful, and makes you feel really at home. Breakfast is also very good.

Elia is where we stay when we visit Meronas. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is a real asset to this beautiful village in one of the most beautiful areas of Crete. Amenities include a very nice pool and patio area with a bar and small restaurant. Would certainly recommend to anyone traveling in Amari. Parking is right next to the hotel, very convenient. The village is wonderfully quiet at night.
