To Spiti mas

The location is set back into the hills above Sougia which was very pleasant. Has a lovely view over looking the hills. The house is well set up for cooking etc.  It’s located about 10 minute drive to the beach , great swimming, a section of the beach is for nudists though. Easy parking at beach. there is plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. However, we’d recommend the Taverna across the road as the food we have was great. Wanda is lovely, was kinda enough to leave us a treat, some wine, good coffee.

The bed is firm, and the pillows were too flat for us. This meant a sleep quality wasn’t great. The second night we had Highwinds, which rattled the doors downstairs for most of the night, keeping us awake. Until we discovered a doorstop to put under it to stop the rattling.  A note that you need to pay in cash for the accommodation. Which is not a problem however, I’d recommend payment is asked for on the first night, so that guests who aren’t aware that cash is required can have the opportunity to have the money available. We scrambled on the last night to get the cash together as we were unaware. booking.com unfortunately Doesn’t highlight or make clear the payment conditions in the confirmation email they send out. It’s easily missed. this standard confirmation email looks the same as all of the confirmation emails. 99% of hotels take payment via booking.com so your lulled into a sense that it’s already done. Overall good stay, just a few things that could make it better.

Wow! Amazing hosts, perfect design and view. You can't expect anything more - navigation, tavern, refreshments, equipment... If I had the opportunity to go back there - for sure ♥️

Amazing place with lovely cosy design and great quiet location, the mountain view is just beautiful, not far from the town and beach. The host was very kind and accommodating and left us some lovely wine and cake. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Classic Greek stone house

Beautiful location with views of the mountains, only 10 minutes from the beaches on the coast. Stylishly decorated but comfortable, with an excellent taverna across the road.
