Gerekos Island Apartments

The host was very welcoming, helped us with transportation from and to the airport. He was always available for anything we needed help with. The apartment is close to both some restaurants, the beach, as well as a small market so we had everything we needed right there.

Location, 15 minutes drive from airport and 3 minutes walk to the nearest beach Quit area overall

Noise isolation, my room was neighboring another room and I heard everything that was going over there. Usually in the middle of the night No working pool, we were there at the beginning of the May and pool was working, still getting cleaned

Breakfast was good, Yiannis and his family are very kind and their hospitality was a 10 out of 10. He arranged that we could rent a car and even gave us a card with multiples places to visit on this Island. We really enjoyed our trip and hope to come as soon as possible.

The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was sunny, and the view was wonderful from our one bed apartment on the first floor. Plenty of parking, but we did go off season. The pool area was also lovely.

The shower was a little dated, with a curtain, but my partner just said it was just typical Corfu/Greece. But it was clean. My only complaint was the kitchens lack of utensils, one large pan, and not even a wooden spoon, no decent chopping board…….so if you want to cook the odd meal it was challenging, and the hob rings temperature control was not working so it was basically on or off.

I will never go back. I did not seen the host. I asked for sheets true the booking com app. For the second room. No reaction. The lady must have seen that I sleep in the second room. Because the pillow's where on the bed. So I slept under my bathrobe. No fly screens. From the hob only 2 plates working. The doors to the balcony are scrapping over the floor. You wake up the whole apartment when you go outside. The fridge makes a lot of noise. Switch of by night. Good thing is that you always can sit in the shadow in front or back of the apartment.
