Gerekos Island Apartments

The rooms are quite big and the swimming pool is a plus.

The room with number 17 had the following issues: 1. Great stench . I informed the owner during my check out and she did not accept it because the room has been painted (you can see the photos...) 2. The first morning I woke up with water leaking by the a/c to my head. (I'm not allowed to attach a video , so I've added a photo) 3. It has no shutters, so every morning at 8:00 am there is sunlight in the rooms. Also you cannot leave the windows open to reduce the stench. 4. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was not cleaned even once. 5. The rooms are much older than they seem in the photos (photos attached) 6. The walls and the porch was moldy (see attached).

Great location and facilities for relaxed break.

The host Giannis is a great host. Everything was terrific, pool, location, staff.

We only stayed 1 night as we were chartering a boat next day but the apartment was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful would have stayed longer if we could have there is a bit of a distance to get to the town but there is a pool bar and they do meals which looked nice

Clean, cosy place. Very nice host. Comfortable place for a pase camp to sightseeing the Island.

You do need a car to get to it easily, but that’s true for most places in Corfu.
