The location was quite good, near bars and shops. Easy to arrive by bus from the Airport.

The apartment was located in the basement, which wasn’t clearly mentioned in the listing. Unfortunately, this led to issues with mold and a noticeable damp smell. Despite having a dehumidifier in the living room, it wasn’t effective for the entire space. Cleanliness was a major concern. We found hair under the blanket when preparing for bed, and our white socks quickly became dirty from walking on the floor. The bathroom, in particular, was in poor condition—it was sticky and had visible mold, making it unusable for us. Additionally, there were serious safety concerns with the water boiler. It felt unsafe to operate, especially while in the bathroom.

The location of the apartment is in the middle of Thessaloniki old center. The historical landmarks and the water front are really close, as well as restaurants, café and bars. The description doesn't say that the apartment is at a demi-sol level (basement). I guess this comes with the advantage that it's cooler. However, it does feel a bit creepy. The beds were really comfortable.The owner made sure we had all the need information about the amenities.

The water boiler was working well but the plug was damaged and looked really dangerous. The owner let us know that we need to turn the boiler off from the main panel for safety reasons, but we couldn't find the switch, so we couldn't use the shower. The shower faucets were and the shower had seen better days.
