Kaerati Apartments

The staff were great and the daily cakes were terrific. It was close to some fabulous restaurants and bars. Even a small rustic supermarket.

It would be great to have some ice or at least an ice tray for the fridge.

Michael was there to meet us at the port and helped us with our bags. The apartment is in a great location with a stunning view of Katopola. Lovely restaurants close by. It’s definitely worth the climb up the steps from the harbour!

The hot water required a long time to heat up.

We loved staying here, beautiful property, gorgeous view of harbor, very clean and comfortable and elegant. Mike the manager was welcoming and very helpful during our stay and with departure. He left delicious cake for us every morning. We hope to be back.

Really enjoyed our stay at Kaerati. Michaelis was the best and extremely helpful. The studio was clean and the perfect size for us both. Close to the port but far enough that you can get an amazing view and the quietude you look for on the island. Near and local beaches and taverns. Honestly fantastic stay- when I return, will aim to get the suite!

A bit of a climb but completely worth it for the views and hospitable experience.

Michael was there to welcome us at the port and help with the luggage. By car he can go halfway up the mountain with so you don't need to drag suitcases up from the bottom of the stairs. We liked the stairs, keeps you fit without being overwhelming (not 80 steps like some others are saying in the comments). Very helpful host and yes, the cake is very good ;) We booked a double room for us and an economy twin for my partner's teenage kids. Clean property, safe and fridge in each room. Nice bathroom, although if I may say, there could be a little more light in there to see yourself properly, but I get that would be "less romantic". Great view, even though (I read in some comments that) you can see the top of other buildings around you, it's normal, it's a town. Bed is comfy. Michael was very helpful for car rental as well. Great restaurants around the area. Opposite town is just a short walk away too.
