Nordic Design 5star Apartment

The opinion about the property depends on what you use the property for and how long you stay. In our case, my husband and I stay there for 15 days for work. 1. The good thing about the place is the location, because it is central. You can hear the street, but if you keep the window closed, you can sleep at night. 2. The owner is nice, and he provided us with extra towel when we arrived. He also offered to change the bath towels but we washed them. 3. There are enough utensils, plates and mugs in the kitchen to have coffee to have breakfast. We gifted the owner two additional mugs. 4. With the exclusion of the bathroom and the balcony, the house is clean.

There are some key issues that, in my opinion. They should be solved in order to provide a higher reviews: 1. The Wi-Fi is not good. We wanted to use it for work, but it would have been an issue also if we wanted to watch Netflix. We communicated with the host about the issue. He gave us another username to access, but the problem was the same. We bought our own router, and it worked perfectly. 2. In general, the apartment was clean, with the exception of the bathroom and the balcony. The shower deserves a strong cleaning at the corner because when you shower you have pieces of dirt that come out. The balcony is very dusty. The city is dusty but if you clean it, it won’t be a problem. 3. There is no dishwasher. Instead, there is a washing machine (but no pods). However, you don't know where to hang the clothings to dry. There is a drying rack outside on the balcony, but it was too dirty to use, and there were no clothes clips. We wash our stuff, hanging the clothing and the bath towels, in the kitchen. 4. There is no closet in the bedroom in the main bedroom, so if only two people stay there, you can hang your clothes in the second bedroom. If you are three or four people and you use the second bedroom, there is really no way you can hang your clothings. 5. The mattress is hard and unforgiving.

Great location. Very clean apartment with everything you need. Amazing host, available for informations and arrangements.

Locatie was prima. Eettentjes op loopafstand alsmede enkele bezienswaardigheden. Het gebouw ligt aan een drukke doorgangsweg, maar dat wisten wij van te voren. Parkeergarage was dichtbij en kost 25 euro voor een “overnight”. Parkeren in de straten zou ik zelf niet zo gauw doen. Elke centimeter wordt er benut. Ik vond het wel vreemd dat je de autosleutels af moest geven, maar dat schijnt achteraf niet ongebruikelijk te zijn. Het bleek ook wel handig.

I really liked the location of the apartment, it is in the very center of Thessaloniki, so it is very convenient to access any means of transport/go sightseeing. The kitchen has a very solid amount of equipment, we were able to cook dinners there.
