Tsiolis Studios & Apartments

Its the second time I m staying here, rooms are clean, they have kitchen and private veranda. They are quite, they explained to me in what building I should go beforehand and my key was waiting for me on the door!

Great cheap no frills accommodation. Cleaned every day to a good standard. We had a few minor issues on arrival which were sorted immediately. Approx 5 minutes walk to the town centre and about 15 to the beach. Bus stop to Zante town about 100 yards away. Would definitely stay again

We had a studio with a double bed and a day bed in it, it was clean and comfortable with bedding changed mid week and towels changed 3 times during the week! We paid for air con but when we had a problem with it the man from Tsilivi travel was just locking up and he was at our apartment within 2 minutes and quickly sorted it out. I would definately stay here again.

We are meant to be staying here now, but after one night we have had to pay for alternate accommodation! There are two blocks, one has been renovated, the other needs complete refurbishment. We had two apartments, both were filthy. The wardrobe handle was a wine bottle cork, holes in the walls, cigarette butt on balcony floor, cracked shower tray, no shower curtain, lights hanging off the wall, stained sheets, broken balcony chair, balcony overlooking what was basically a car park, 50 euros for air conditioning which blows out warm air. This place is not even worth one star, I've seen better hostels. The Olympic reps aren't interested. I am a worldwide traveller, and this is the second worst accommodation I've ever stayed in. These apartments are not fit for purpose.

Very very very basic. Clean to an extent, very little cutlery and no wine glasses. Bathroom very run down-lock on door doesn't work and toilet doesn't flush. Air con is NOT free as it detailed on the website €50 a week. Could do with decorating and a lick of paint. Towels are not clean, door does not close in the bedroom. Very poor quality for not cheap prices. Bed sheets stained with blood and dirty. Very small and cramped, in need of modernising

I visited this apartment from 14th - 21st July 2016 and do not like to leave an average review,always look for the positives. On arrival, we were shown to the door of the apartment - 4A - they key was in the door and promptly the rep scarpered! The room was nothing like I expected and had no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures of rooms shown both on the apartment website and trip advisor. Negatives ...... The air con was not free despite all the previous reviews saying it was. There was no safety deposit box in the room - just a hole in the wall where it had been. E mailed the owner twice whilst there and no response. Went to see the guy in Tsilivi Travel across the road and he made us feel like we had bothered him and said nothing is free. Reported to Olympic rep - who lived in the same apartment block - she said that she would tell the rep who looked after these apartments - no response from her either. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom and the floor was continuousley wet, we had to use the towels to dry it with, spoke with the cleaning staff and they were brilliant and changed out towels every other day On to the positives..... Hair dryer, iron,toaster, sandwich maker - all very useful but do not keep you cool and keep your valuable safe! Good location from town 10 minutes stroll to loads of bars and restaurants, further 10 minutes to beach. Use of pool at the Petros hotel across the road. I am sorry to say that we were really misled by the pictures of this accomodation and people do say with Greece "you get what you pay for" In our case we feel that we got less than what we paid for. I could have got a cheaper apartment in the town with it's own pool but it didn't look quite as nice as the Tsiolis.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay here! The location of these apartments was just what we wanted because it was roughly a ten minute walk to get to the main area for bars and restaurants etc - so well within walking distance ...... but just enough away from the hustle and bustle - in other words we had the best of both worlds!! We were able to use the swimming pool in the two hotels just down the road - minutes away! just turn right out of the Tsiolis! Having said this there were lots of places with signs outside inviting you in to use their swimming pools too! Olympic rep was a lovely girl, very helpful and was there if you needed her for anything. The apartment itself passed our expectations - kitchen had everything you would need and want to use. All the utensils for cooking, cutlery, china and glasses AND a kettle and toaster AND a toasted sandwich maker as well as the hob for cooking and a great fridge - all perfect! We were given towels/toilet rolls and the maid service was brilliant! Sheets and towels changed twice I think it was - but the maids came in every day to clean floor, make bed, empty bins etc. We could not have asked for more and our apartment was on the ground floor which was great because we had lots of room on the veranda to space out with our table and chairs and even a line to hang out towels and swimwear. This also enabled us to make friends with the other people next door and along because we could group together and talk/eat/drink! We had free airconditioning which was an added bonus. Lots of wardrobe space with lots of hangers and even a hairdryer was supplied - it looked brand new - in a box in the wardrobe - fantastic!! The apartments were slightly set back up a flight of steps on a fairly busy road but this did not cause us any problems as at night we had the windows and shutters closed anyway with the aircon on. We had a lovely view with fantastic looking flowers and plants everywhere. There was a supermarket right on the doorstep as well - just to the left across the road - people very friendly and helpful. The beach was about at least 20 mins walk away but was well worth going. Sea was great for children - very shallow for a long way out! We honestly could not find anything to fault and would recommend the area and accommodation to anybody - it was a really lovely and enjoyable holiday!!! Hope this is helpful to anyone considering booking this package with Olympic - great company & great prices!!!!!!!

Stayed here sept 2015 was a late booking we had seen the building before but had no idea how good it was all the things you need and all free eg air con hair dryer kettle toaster and sandwich maker iron and board good views as long as road noise is not a problem then this is for you we stayed In block A which is not the one in this picture

We stayed in studio 2, block A for 2 weeks in August. 2 adults, 1 child, I think you would be hard pressed to beat these studios for the price. As has been said, located just a 5 minute stroll from the very busy centre, where there is a fantastic choice of restaurants, bars & tavernas. A further 10 minute stroll to the beach, with plenty of places to stop for a drink. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, other than the kettle, toaster & fridge, but there was enough basic equipment to do full self catering if you wish. Air condition was very efficient ( and free! ) safe is located in room ( free again! ). WiFi is also free, Water temperature & pressure was the best I've known in an apartment or hotel, hand held shower, so you may want to take one of those suction shower holders with you. Plenty of power outlets, TV worked fine, only BBC world news in English, but we don't go on hols to watch telly. The cleaning of rooms and patios was very good, done by a lovely freindly lady. bedding and towels changed frequently, but if you need more, just ask her, Loads of wasps & hornets around due to all the greenery, but aren't aggressive and didn't bother us.

Stayed here 4 years now and the value for money cannot be beaten. The apartments are everything you need, good standard of bathroom, nice beds and a good balcony. The apartments are visited everyday by the maids who work to a very high standard and are polite and pleasant. The room has air conditioning at no extra cost which is very rare. The location is perfect not too long of a walk home at night but also long enough to not have floods of people passing at the early hours of the morning. Would highly recommend.
