The inside looks pretty

The property is undergoing renovations to the building as well as lots of roadworks. Do not try driving to the address - it is diabolical and there is no parking available - go straight to the nearby parking area. The property is pretty but impractical. There is a sort of kettle in the kitchen, but nowhere to plug in; the chandelier in the bathroom gets hit every time you comb you’re hair or try to dry yourself (and it’s dusty) there are 2 bedrooms, but only the main one has air conditioning. The towels all had a yellowish tinge to them and basics like body wash were insufficient

Abbiamo soggiornato giusto una notte di passaggio. La casa internamente era molto bella e curata, il quartiere sembrava così così ma in realtà era a due passi dal centro.

Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a raggiungere la casa con l'auto perché c'erano i lavori nella strada dove si affaccia il portone ..pertanto era sterrata e piena di buchi. Poi il navigatore ha tentato di farci fare altra via, ma era troppo stretta. Alla fine abbiamo parcheggiato in un parcheggio lì vicino e raggiunto a piedi la casa. Una volta terminati i lavori sarà meglio.

We booked Despina's very last minute for an unexpected one night stay in Heraklion and we were so pleased that we did. Spacious and spotless apartment, easy check in and great communication. Thank you.

Unfortunately there was building work around the apartment during our stay, but Despina told us of it in advance and it didn't disturb us.

The apartment was in a perfect location, near the city center, bus stops and the beach. The owner was super helpful all throughout our stay. Even tho when we stayed there, there was some construction happening in the area, the windows were perfectly soundproof which was just perfect. The kitchen is perfectly furnished as well as the bathroom. It was just what we needed for our stay in Crete.
