Kallisti stone house apartment

The location was superb in Chania. The house itself was intimate and quaint. We loved the layout and the gorgeous rooftop.

The host was fantastic and friendly. The location is great--close to everything: the old town, the seafront, great food. And the upstairs terrace is superb.

The property is centrally located, spacious and with a very charming local atmosphere. The jewel is the top floor: from the rooftop terrace you can enjoy a beautiful sea view!

1. The kitchen does not have direct sunlight and, even more significantly, does not have a stove. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a kettle, a machine for making American coffee and a toaster. Unfortunately, there is no stove or pots to cook. This is a real shame if you stay a few days and would like to feel ‘at home’. However, there are many restaurants in the area within walking distance. 2. unfortunately, the toilet was broken since we arrived. Angela was very kind and try to find someone to fix it, however without succeeding. This made our staying at the property a bit uncomfortable.

Quintessential Old Town Chania! Amazing location, 2 minutes walk from the town beach, inner and outer harbours, and walking distance to shopping areas. The roof terrace was exceptionally good, private, but with views of the sea and old Town.

The only limitation would be the trouble finding parking, but the locals seem very chilled about parking in " permanent residents only" parking streets. Not suitable for families with toddlers, or those with mobility issues, as the apartment and roof terrace have different flights of stairs, but no problem for most people.
