Ferma Solaris Apartments

Having arrived at the apartment in the dark, we were wowed by the stunning view from our balcony when we pulled back the shutter on the first morning. It’s one of the most idyllic settings of any holiday apartment we’ve stayed in. There’s a lovely, secluded little beach only a few minutes down a rocky path from the garden. It was a pleasure to swim and relax there, and at the peaceful pine-surrounded pool. One of the great bonuses of the apartment was having the lovely, friendly Evangelia on hand to give us information and recommendations for places to visit and eat. We followed several of her suggestions and were never disappointed. The apartment is simply furnished, but very clean and comfortable. The cooking facilities are also fairly simple, but as there are so many wonderful, reasonably-priced restaurants nearby that wasn’t a problem. We would love to visit again.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Beautiful location by a wonderful beach (150 stairs to walk down). The area is great with lots of good food and beaches. Staff are super friendly.

It’s a beautiful place in a great location- the beach is right below.. the pool is very nice and the staff was wonderful. We arrived late at night and they wanted for us and were very kind and helpful. We got lots of good advice from them. If you want quiet and beautiful place- that is the place for you.

The rooms are basic .

Amazing place !!! Beautiful view , especially from our room , love it 😍❤️ we could relax in our sunbeds enjoying sea view. Our loved beach was here. Pool was really great also. And of course super nice and helpful owners. we will definitely come back here!!!

For us it was a perfect location, far from partying north of Crete. With the pool and really cozy apartment(s), this very private property set up 100m above the sea gives you all the comfort you need. Nice people, always willing to help. Also really good starting point to discover eastern third of Crete. More than enough quality restaurants with variety of food offers are close (10 to 15 mins) and few really really good traditional ones are 20 to 30 minutes drive up the the hill towards inland (Google can help but as always rather ask locals for hints to find the best). And yes, exceptional coffee at the Bakery Grigoriou just 1 and a half minutes away.

Less suitable for small children. The property is on a cliff but there is no high fence around it, so we had to keep an eye on our children (aged 3,5) all the time

Pool is closed from 6pm-10am. Need to drive for restaurants or shopping

Best place to relax with family
