Arch Apartment Corfu

We were met by one of the owners, which was arranged via Whatsapp once we arrived in the area. Be aware, the taxi drivers typically charge a flat rate for transportation between the airport and the old town area (20 Euros in July), and it was a good value. The apartment was located in a great spot, a very short walk from the old town area. Just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. 2 bedrooms with comfortable double beds and air conditioning, a large living/kitchen room with all amenities and air conditioning, and a full bathroom with washing machine. The hosts left us coffee and brioche buns for our first breakfast.

The staircase between the outer door of the building and the apartment is under construction, and was a bit unsafe. I believe the owners are addressing this currently, but those stairs were old and rickety and frankly it made us uncomfortable. halfway up the stairs there is access to an open area that is unfinished, basically accessed through a large opening in the stairwell wall. At night, in the dark, this could easily make single travelers extremely uncomfortable.

Perfect location.

It's an extremely old building, you can hear every single step from the neighbours above the apartment.

Great location. Just outside of the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to enjoy all the town has to offer (restaurants and shops). Thank you to Mike for our welcome to your city.

Very clean, nice location in the center of the town, the apartment was new and very well equiped.

Everything needed was available. And the location was superb. Close to all the restaurants, shopping and beach, but very quite to sleep
