Athina Studios

Athinas Studios are in a perfect location for Laganas and a good base to explore the rest of the island. We were collected/dropped at the airport by the host for 20 euros each way. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and felt luxurious. Athina is very proud of her studios and the furnishings, bedding and decor is good quality (she cleans and upkeeps everything herself!). Beds were comfortable with new mattresses and the room was cleaned, bedding and towels changed every other day which was unexpected but wonderful! Everything is close by - the distances on the island are short and hiring a car locally proved a great way to see the furthest away spots. The island and specifically Laganas is very tourist-centric, so if you prefer a quieter life choose the 'low' season like we did. We had planned on cooking at the accommodation, but arrived to hear that open fires/barbeques are not allowed in Zakynthos during the summer season because of the danger of wildfires. The kitchen was quite well equipped, but in the end, we opted to eat out since there are many good restaurants just a stone's throw away from the apartment - Atki, Mouria, Blue Sea and Pirates Grill are recommended. There is a kettle, two plate stovetop, fridge, toasted sandwich maker, coffee (filter) machine, washing up stuff, pots, pans, glasses, crockery and cutlery in the kitchen, a hairdryer (which I didn't use), a TV (local channels), good air-conditioning and decent Wi-Fi. Toilet rolls, towels and linens are also included in the price. Bear in mind that the water is not drinkable (salt), but bottled water, tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, sugar and other basic necessities are available at the supermarket just 2 minutes down the road.

Everything was pretty perfect but just a few pointers The mosquitoes are dreadful across the island - make sure you have repellent! No pool and because it was low season, any nearby facilities were closed - the sea and beach are five minutes away though! No BBQs from about April to the end of October - obviously not the fault of the host. You can't flush toilet paper down the toilets on the island - this might not suit everyone but again this is nothing to do with this host or the accommodation.

The studio with the cute balcony was clean, comfortable. It is exactly as the pictures show. The host was really nice! We are glad that we found this Studio and will come back here on our next trip to Zakynthos.

Everything, it is clean and tidy, spacious, newly refurbished. Close to the beach, the bed is comfy I could go on..,

Stefanos und seine Mutter waren super Gastfreundlich und herzlich ♥️. Das Zimmer wurde imme alle 2 Tage gründlich sauber gemacht. Wenn wir Mal Hilfe oder paar Tipps brauchten für Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten wurde uns direkt geholfen. Ich würde immer wieder die Unterkunft buchen und weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt gehabt ♥️🫶

Quarto novo e recém reformado, anfitriões muito simpáticos e atenciosos, você vai se sentir em casa. Localização excelente e muito tranquila.

Wifi estava um pouco fraco no quarto 1

Die Unterkunft war super, genau wie beschrieben und schön zentral in Laganas und doch ruhig gelegen. Viele Restaurants, 2 Mini-Markets, Auto- und Bootvermietungen und den Strand konnte man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Für einfache Gerichte war die Küchenzeile gut ausgestattet. Es gab alles was man brauchte. Die Familie war außerordentlich herzlich und freundlich und hat sofort geholfen bei Fragen. Sie haben auch immer betont, dass man sich melden könnte, wenn was fehlt. Es gab einen Airportshuttle für 20€ pro Strecke und es wurde jeden 2. Tag alles gereinigt, sowie Bettwäsche und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.
