Katrina House

Freezer was ice blocked, obviously not defrosted for a very long time! Bathroom lighting was very poor. No shower gel nor shampoo was available.

Everything was perfect, cleanliness, location, attention from the host. I loved it

I chose Katrina House mainly for the location and for that it definitely did not disappoint, it's right in the beautiful old town of Rethimno, shops, restaurants, bars,... everything is right at its doorstep. The apartment itself isn't special or cozy but it's comfortable and clean, at least inside is, the balcony looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom could do with a little makeover but on the positive side, it had a washing machine which came in handy. Overall, we had a very nice stay. Messages were answered very quickly, and we received all the info we needed; directions, parking options nearby, instructions to enter, and so on.

The apartment is very nice, with a great wooden ceiling and, big kitchen, big terrace, in a nice old, but beautiful and clean building. The location is exceptional: in the old town on a narrow street with bars and restaurants. But it is quiet. Excellent

A lot of small stuff can be improved and it will add great value to your stay. The bathroom was not very clean (see pics) and needs to be updated. The terrace needs cleaning as well. Please pay more attention to the details like: kitchen cleaning sponge can be a new one for every guest, you can leave a bit of coffee, oil etc for the guests; some laundry detergent will be nice; bathroom soup recipient can be updated; kitchen paper towels would be a nice touch.... All this will cost little but will add great value.

Very central, in the old city. Very spacious. Well equipped and comfortable. Quiet, despite the very central position. A small balcony with view onto the narrow, animated street outside, is pleasant to have breakfast on. Bars, restaurants, and everything else are right next to the flat.

I asked regarding parking, and was told "we recommend you taking your car to a private parking lot." It would be much more helpful to give names and addresses of the nearest ones ( there is a very close one, which I missed, causing a stressful arrival). Anyway, I was lucky, and found a place (in the street).

Neatly located in the heart of the old town. Super central yet quiet. A good choice for a one night stop-over.
