The apartment had a stove but no pots and pans and no cooking utensils

Nice, spotless apartment at an excellent location. The apartment has separate bedroom, kitchen and living room. All rooms were good sized. Highlights: Good mattress, large refrigerator, A/C in both the living room and the bedroom, the small balcony where you can enjoy your coffee. We also liked that it was on a high floor. The location is very good. Lots of restaurants in the area, the Concert Hall, and of course the esplanade which is amazing. There is no street parking to speak of but there is a large municipal (and free!) parking lot nearby (south of the concert hall). We kinda found it by accident when we were looking around for a spot. It's less than 10min walk from the apartment.

The living room couch could be a bit uncomfortable depending on where you were sitting. The bathroom layout was so-so. The shower stall was a bit on the small side and the toilet somewhat sideways in order to fit. But this was a minor issue.
