Dimael Mansion

Location is perfect ‘cause its by the center of Thira, 5 minutes by walk. The house looks pretty nice and we have a wonderful surprise getting to know that we had a jacuzzi on the rooftop. The host was very nice and truly available and ready to ensure that our stay was a total spot on experience. I recommend this place for future accommodation.!

Very comfortable environment with the great spa and view roof top to the Aegean Sea.

Host Lila was extremely helpful by text and made sure we found our way to the suite and that we had everything we needed. She organised taxis from the airport and to the port. The interiors are lovely: beautiful colours and design features ( huge bath). The temperature was comfortable inside and the balconies/rooftops were authentic. The rooftop jacuzzi had amazing sunrise views and of a blue domed church next door. Location is great: very peaceful with a 10 min walk to the centre and to Firostefani in the other direction.

As a family of 4 adults we struggled a bit with the space as the main bedroom was a corridor to the shared bathroom and our daughters slept in the kitchenette. But for three nights we just had to be organised and it was worth it for all the other features!

This is our second stay: - First time the White Suite (10 Nights) - This time the Red Suite (11 Nights) Lila, the host is excellent and is so responsive, right from our original booking until departure. The property is well equipped and the views from the roof top are stunning. Great location close to everything Fira has to offer. Easy access to other parts of Santorini.

The property was very clean, newish, and generally in very good condition, although we could not make the ceiling fan or the ceiling light work in the living / dining room. (To be fair, we didn't ask the host about this.) It has a slightly quirky design with high ceilings throughout, which I liked. It's a generous size for a couple or even couple plus child. There's a spacious shower with ample hot water. The bed, bedding and towels were very good. It was cleaned every 2 days or so. There's a terrace outside. The host, Lila, was quick to respond to our messages.

Difficult to find the property the first time. It's on a pedestrian path with no sign outside, either at the start of the path or at the property itself. (The host did send a video showing the front gate and how to get to our apartment from there.) The main road is 5 minutes away along the slightly hilly pedestrian path, and the bus depot is about another 5 minutes along the main road. The wifi worked in the lounge but not in the bedroom.

We really liked jacuzzi on the rooftop. It was really nice place to enjoy breakfast with the perfect view.

Kitchen is small, but it is enough for preparing breakfast or some quick meal.
