Apartment Citadela

Best host, best location, best balcony. Blansa thought of everything you could possibly need. Could not recommend Apartment Citadela high enough.

A fantastic apartment right in the centre of the old town. It couldn’t be better located with a cute little balcony to watch the world go by. The apartment is spacious with all the amenities you could need and more. The host was very kind allowing me to check in early and even gave me a parting gift. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. I would 100% recommend.

There was nothing- everything was perfect.

Best location ever and Blansa is just incredible. Nothing is too much for her and every detail in the apartment is taken care of. Would stay here again and again!

We liked the fact that it was a modern, practical, spotlessly clean apartment set in an historic authentic stone building. Great to be on a bustling street in old town Split, where we could enjoy the sounds and atmosphere from our private balcony but could close, when wanting to sleep, the modern soundproof windows, which meant we had a peaceful night sleep in the heart of this amazing town. The welcome of the host was outstanding, because of her friendliness, welcoming gifts, local drinks and kindness. Worth noting that it is on the first floor above the best ice cream shop in Split, which is another massive bonus :-) Finally, they also accommodated us on short notice, which was super welcomed!

Can’t criticise anything about this property.

This is an amazing apartment in the centre of Split’s old town. It‘s large, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. It has a beautiful balcony looking out over the old town and the street, which we just loved. Everything was incredible - great AC, a very comfortable bed, a fantastic shower, and the perfect location. I can’t recommend it enough, it was sensational! And the highlight of everything was Blansa, the host. She went out of her way to make our short stay comfortable - staying up late to let us in when our flight was delayed, providing us with wine, liqueurs, fruit and biscuits so we had something to eat when we got in, and even giving us a souvenir of Split. Blansa is so kind and thoughtful - and very funny too! She was on hand for any issues but also gave us privacy. The most wonderful host ever, thank you Blansa!

There was nothing not to like.

This place is located within the Palace walls and right above the best Gelataria in split. Blansa was there to meet us and she is the friendliest and funniest Person. She gave us all the info we needed and was there for us if we ever needed anything. We didn't need anything though because the apartment has everything we could possibly need. The added bonus of having a washing machine to refresh our clothes midway through our travels was perfect for us. I marked the comfort down by one point only because it can get a bit noisy during short moments in the night. But it's not the Host's fault that people are partying and we were located in the hugely popular old part of town. It's a fair swap to put up with occasional noise so you can live so close to all the best parts of Split. Don't forget to water Blansa's Petunias on that gorgeous little balcony and get someone to photograph you at the same time! :-)

Everything was great

Super apartment located in the old town. Everything about the apartment was excellent, the host was friendly and very helpful.

Great location-short walk to everything! A/C works well! Host stocked it with all of our needs (hairdryer, shampoo, laundry & DW soap). She gave a great orientation to the city. Modern design and comfy bed. Balcony was great. My kids loved the ice cream downstairs (get there early, there’s always a line)! The windows are awesome and kept street noise down. We slept great. Really cool, 17th Century entrance.
