Apartments Silva with a view of sea

The 3 bedroom apartment was extremely clean and really had everything we needed - a great BBQ on the large balcony, plenty of space, pretty much all you'd need for cooking and cleaning. All the hosts were so friendly and welcoming and really made it a great stay. The pool area was great, very quiet and had plenty of seating. It's literally just up from the sea so it was lovely to walk there every day. Also about 15 mins walk into the main area of Ciovo where there's a bakery, supermarket etc.

Only one bedroom had air conditioning which was a shame as we thought there'd be one in each. This wasn't a big issue but made for some warm nights.

We had a very bad experience during our check out at this apartment. The host and 2 cleaners accused us of breaking the dishwasher due to some water leaking despite us using it with no issues for the 3 days prior. The host suggested that we would be footing the bill despite not providing adequate cleaning products or instructions and then threatened to call the police on us. We were also charged 20 euros for laundry which was returned completely dirty and smelly. The host accused us of letting ourselves into the apartment upon check in despite sending us specific instructions prior to our arrival on how to enter. There was also a serious mosquito problem in one of the bedrooms which left two of our party covered in multiple bites and had to sleep on the lounge instead. An unpleasant way to finish our holiday in Croatia.

This was our first apartment in our Croatia travels and our family of 5 loved our stay. The kids loved swimming and snorkeling right out the front of the apartment, almost all the way to the town. We loved the fact that we were a 10-15 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming, even inviting us to enjoy dinner and wine with them one night!

Great location, close to the beach. Apartment was clean and also well-equipped. Owner was really nice and helpful.
