Apartment Lara

Location was superb, right at the walls of the Palace, a great fresh food market was one street away and the ferry is a five minute walk to the apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable beds and had all we needed for a two night stay.

What did we like……everything! What a stunning apartment, classy, spacious, practical, perfect. We were met at the apartment by Petra who was a delight, helpful with showing us the workings of the apartment and hints for sightseeing. The washing machine was ideal and the dryer sort of did the job…. It dried very hot and steamy so maybe we did something wrong. Plenty of cupboard space for hanging larger items in to dry though. Comfy large bed and bathroom an ok size, more towel rails would be good maybe. We didn’t cook but did prepare breakfast each morning, plenty of crockery and cutlery for our purposes. The position could not be any better. A dozen steps to the silver gate, the entry to the Diocletians Palace, the old city. I would not hesitate in recommending you make Apartment Lara your home in Split.

We loved everything but it should be noted that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, with 6 small flights of stairs to reach it and no elevator. Not a problem for us and definitely worth the climb.

Close to the old town, lovely decor, Petra was fantastic in helping us with a few queries.

It was noisy mainly from crying cats but also from the people running around in the apartment above, something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise.

Amazing property, great location and couldn’t be better.

Excellent location, close to old town sites and the harbour. Clean, everything worked, comfy bed.

Fair few steps to access the apartment. Office not the easiest to find to collect keys.
