Riva Apartments

I had a lovely room that was in the perfect location to enjoy and explore Split. Just steps away from the beginning of the Riva and located within the historic palace walls, it was the perfect launch point for my daily adventures. My room was nicely appointed, and I had an incredible view of the Belltower. There was beautiful music almost every night that that filtered into my room. There were a lot of stairs to get to my floor, but I think they are going to install an elevator next year which would be awesome! George and Annon were very helpful with my luggage and made me feel at home. I was very happy with my stay at the Riva Apartments.

The location was wonderful! It is inside Diocletian Palace, and a short walk from all of that Split has to offer (the historical sites, Riva and the waterfront, restaurants, etc.). The host met us in person and was exceedingly gracious and helpful.

The large apartment is above the famous castle walls looking at the Riva waterfront with it's bars boats and action. We were met at the castle gate by Danus who helped carry our cases up the stairs which we needed. He gave us plenty of useful information about the town and showed us around the apartment. On our second day George arrived with a bottle of local wine which was a nice touch.

The kitchen is very small so we had to move the micro to the living room floor. Also there wasn't any hot water in the kitchen. The shower was fine except the powerful device was positioned very low ..

The location is excellent! Our view of the bell tower right outside our window was priceless. George, the manager, communicated well, was so helpful, very nice, we couldn’t thank him enough.

No TV! Hot water didn’t stay hot long enough that I had to shower very very quickly.

Location - it has the million dollar view and close to everything

Location was splendid in historic heart and on the sea front. The support service from staff was excellent. Convenient to have clothes washing machine in bathroom

Would have liked a coffee machine and toaster could have been better but these are minor issues
